Gifted & Talented Teacher - Part Time
Job Opportunity: Academic Support Teacher at Lighthouse Academy for Educational Consultancy
Lighthouse Academy is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated educator to join our exceptional team as a Gifted and Talented Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design & Delivery: Develop and implement enriched lesson plans tailored to gifted and talented learners, ensuring an engaging and rigorous academic experience.
Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress through both formal and informal evaluations, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Innovative Teaching: Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and modern technologies to stimulate intellectual growth and challenge students beyond the standard curriculum.
Mentorship & Guidance: Provide academic and personal mentorship, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
Collaborative Development: Work closely with fellow educators and school leadership to continuously improve the gifted education program and share best practices.
Extracurricular Engagement: Lead or support extracurricular initiatives, workshops, and enrichment activities that promote holistic learning.
Requirements:
Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching gifted and talented students or a strong record in a challenging academic environment.
Passion & Innovation: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver innovative instructional strategies that inspire high-achieving learners.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
Professional Certification: Relevant teaching certification or license, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
